Today our little chubby bunny had his 4 month check-up and shots. All I can say is WOW! I knew Calvin was a cute little chunk, but really....I didn't think he was this big!
Head Circumference: 17in---75%
Height: 26.5 in---75%
Weight: 18.8lbs---95%
At his 2 month check-up he was:
Head Circumference: 30%
Height: 24.5in---95%
Weight: 14.3lbs.---97%
At his 2 week check-up he was:
Height: 22in
Weight: 8.4lbs
The doctor said that there is nothing to worry about though...he said he thinks Calvin will begin crawling fairly soon and says that he will probably start loosing some weight once he is mobile. He said that he is very advanced for his age, and was impressed with his strength. Calvin was very good at his appointment...he kept making the doctor laugh because he was giggling and squealing at him the entire time. He took the shots like a chap, although he did cry for a few minutes, but nothing a bottle couldn't sooth! In another 2 months I will have fun update like this one.

So I just barely read the comments you left on my older posts! I've read on your blog about your little Calvin-- he is sooo cute by the way!! Adoption is such a miracle! I'm so grateful that I have been able to find other adoptive couples via the r house, every story is amazing! I'll be checking back often! Happy Thanksgiving!
I just saw that Cal is going to weigh more than Bradley soon! At first I was a little worried, but everything I have read said that formula fed babies gain more than breast fed after the initial growth spurt.
It feels like he weighs so much more than he does. He has so much muscle. I think he's burning his fat and adding muscle.
Cal is looking so cute these days (not that he wasn't cute before ;)) Aren't solids quite the adventure!?!
Oh my goodness he is getting so big! I would say something else but I'm not sure if it is appropriete or not :P but anyways, wow! He is so adorable.

Wow! Big boy - I'm sure it will even out when he gets mobile, but way to grow Calvin! He weighs almost the same as Rowan and Row is 6 months older. Crazy! :) Glad to hear that he's doing well and is healthy!
Calvin at 4 months weighs more than my daughter at 14 months. I'm jealous. I always wanted a fat baby. I guess I married the wrong guy :).

Manic Monday idea - since thanksgiving was on the 27th of the month, everyone posts the 27th picture they took on Thanksgiving (if none this year - then from last year). Do the same for Christmas (25th).
