{Daily Pondering}

Elder Bednar is one of my favorite apostles to hear talk. His inspiration to say specific things always tend to penitrate my heart, mind and soul. In his general conference address he reminds us how important it is be "more diligent and concerned at home."

Here are a few things that stood out to me:
"We should remember that saying 'i love you' is only a beginning. We need to say it, we need to mean it, and most importantly we need consistently to show it. We need to both express and demonstrate love."

"Just as our love of and for the Lord is evidenced by walking ever in His ways, so our love for spouse, parents, and children is reflected most powerfully in our thoughts, our words, and our deeds."

"As disciples of the Savior, we are not merelt striving to know more; rather, we need to consistently do more of what we know is right and become better,"

"Wherefore, be not waery in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work."
