Finding Balance in Life by setting GOALS

Last week we focused on trying to get our daily life balanced by thinking about things that needed to be done to make our everyday be smooth and productive. This was achieved by making daily and weekly lists that were prioritized and organized to assure specific items got taken care of. It really helped me because when I had down time between baby naps and bedtimes, I was able to reflect on the list I had made that morning and get things done that helped me create balance.

Making lists help us accomplish things that may slip past our minds at any given moment. Those lists can also help us remember the goals we have in life and get us thinking about them more so that in the end they can be met. It is important to set short term and long term goals in your life to seek balance and comfort that you are progressing in the direction you would like to be going. Setting goals is a great experience especially when you reflect back to the list you have made and have the chance to accomplish those goals.

This week, let's work together to focus on the goals that we have in life...or that we should have. Write everything that you would like to accomplish (even if it is buying a big screen tv)...take time to contemplate what is really important and especially where you want to be in 5 years. Each day go through that list and make it more personal and look to see if the goals you have written will bring balance into your life and make you feel awesome about what you have/will achieve. At the end of the week, post your goals (maybe not all of them, but some of them) on your blog sidebar so that you can be reminded of them, as well as have them listed so we can help be supporters for you!

Are you in? Let me know!
