Here is our stash for this year...Calvin made out like a bandit compared to us! He sure is loved!
This Christmas brought a lot of firsts for us. Regardless though, we still had a great time spending time together and enjoying the spirit that Christmas brings....some of our firsts are:
*First Christmas with a baby! (it was so much fun, although Calvin was kind of grumpy and only wanted to eat the presents)
*First Christmas in our own Home.
*First Christmas away from both families.
*First Christmas where our budget was close to $50 or less.
*First Christmas where we ate pizza for dinner.
It is definitely low key this year, but next year....it will be an entirely different story, I guarantee it!! I have a plan to start my Christmas shopping early, and shop year round, or when our budget allows it! I am hoping to buy things when the deals are on and just store them away until the time comes that I get to wrap them. I will probably do that for all of us...it will make things a lot funner for me, and it will help me be able to feel comfortable come November, instead of sulking at the paychecks November and December wondering what we will be able to afford! Of course all the spending will be in moderation, and will be somewhat a responsible purchase! (lol, lets hope anyway!)
This year has definitely been one to remember! I am going to try to get a recap of the year up before the 1st, and if I can succeed, it will be pretty fun! We are so grateful this year for most amazing gift we could have ever received! That gift, of course, is our sweet baby boy, Calvin! He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives and just looking back and thinking about how things were and how blessed we have been is so moving! (I know, I am a cry baby, but you know what...I DON'T CARE!) Cassandra has given us the world. She is and always will be the girl who gave us everything! We love her so much and hope that she knows how special she is in our lives!

lila, is that a perm? it's way cute on you whatever it is you did... sept'n i've never seen u with anything like it!
oh, and you'll have to tell me how u liked the under the cabinet radio... i haven't been able to find one i can be friends with.
