One of our first real introductions to living in a small town was their homecoming parade. Every year when the high school has it's homecoming game for football, the whole town celebrates. The Elementary and Middle school students have a field day in the morning where they play a ton of games and have a grand ol' time...then after that, the elementary students get together by school (which by the way, there is like 5 different elementary schools in this little town) and get to walk in the parade. Each school has their own shirts and the kids walk down the street waving to everyone and thing they see! It was pretty awesome! Basically the entire city shut down and came to watch the parade. The next day was the football game, and the Green River Wolves smashed their opponents.

Here is my niece Lilly walking in the parade! She did a great job and seemed to have a good time!
This is my sister-in-law Jody with Cannon and Sophie. Parades are so much fun! My nephew Whip had a
great idea and used his goggles so he could see everything that was going on.
